Health Visitors are qualified Nurses or Midwives with specialist training in Public Health and child development. We promote healthier lifestyles using evidence-based research and address concerns about physical and emotional wellbeing with all families who have a child under the age of 5. We are employed by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and aim to work in partnership with parents to achieve

the best health outcomes for their children. Our page will provide up-to-date information on events in your area, changes to the service, and the latest health information. To find out more about the health visitor service and for parenting resources and information around growth and development, immunisations, safety and more, please visit our website here: https://www.oxfordhealth.nhs.uk/hv

As this is a community page, we will not be able to answer individual queries - please contact our Parentline for 0-4 years via Chat Health by messaging 07312 263081. If you need urgent medical advice, contact your GP or NHS Direct 111. Please direct any welfare concerns to MASH on 0345 050 7666. We welcome all feedback and encourage you to visit https://www.iwantgreatcare.org/trusts/oxford-health-nhs-foundation-trust. Individual issues with local NHS services will not be discussed via this page. Please be aware that posts on this page by members of the public are their own opinions and may not constitute evidence-based health advice.
