So, I share a lot about muscle and bone health, especially in perimenopause and postmenopause. I just wanted you all to see that I am leading by example. This is me in the gym. On Friday lifting 225kg x8 reps at 55kg bodyweight (I'm only 4'10.5"). We have to load bone and muscle to maintain and grow mass. This is essential for our health as we age and longevity of independence.
I have been weight training for a long time so please don't go to the gym and put 200kg on a bar and try to lift it if you haven't trained for it. It is all about gradual and controlled overload over time. It is never too late ladies - go lift πͺ
