The New Forest has been on my list of places I want to visit for a long time, and what a great way to see it doing something I love. The race yesterday went so much better than I expected, I felt strong right to the finish line which was so nice! Next month marks 10 yrs since my first marathon and in that time I have run around 50 more. I haven’t gotten any faster, but nor am I any slower. I wonder if I can sustain that for the next 10 years?!

Why choose sports massage over swedish?

While sports massage and swedish massage use the same principle of stroking techniques known as Effleurage to relax muscles, sports massage takes it to the next level and targets the deeper muscles which cannot be penetrated by Effleurage alone. Deeper muscles in the back and neck provide support and maintain the body's posture, while facilitating movement. When these muscles are tight they can cause issues with alignment, movement and cause pain. The deep tissue techniques used in sports massage apply adequate pressure to the muscles alleviating these issues.
