Myth 1

Pain = Damage

Pain is a warning signal, not always an injury.
Stress, fear, and fatigue can turn increase pain even when tissues are safe.

Your body is overprotective, not broken.
Gentle, graded movement helps calm the system and build confidence.

Myth 2

"You should rest Until it's better"

Total rest often slows recovery.
Move smarter, not less.
Modified activity keeps tissues healthy and speeds up healing.

Myth 3

"Bad Posture Causes Pain"

There is no "perfect posture"

Humans are built to move, not freeze.
Changing positions regularly is more important than holding one "correct" pose.

Physio Myth Busting

A common question we often get asked as Physios.

There are many different types of fractures, they are often categorized depending on different factors such as the mechanism of fracture, for example avulsion, stress or impact. The bone integrity such as a clean break all the way through or incomplete, number of pieces such as comminuted or segmented and if is stable ie displaced or non displaced.

Some fractures will require surgical fixation and others will heal with bracing but they are both fractures regardless of severity
