“Just an update to the NICU team. Dylan and Romeo are excited to celebrate their first Christmas 🎅 after coming early at 33 weeks they are both doing amazing at 14 weeks. The boys spent 25 days with the unit and we can’t thank you all enough. Dylan is now off his oxygen and both boys are putting on loads of weight. Just a wee message to say merry Christmas too all the team that helped us! ♥️” - Mum Jen.

🥳 Happy belated 1st birthday Cormoran! 🥳

On the 14th December Cormoran celebrated his big first birthday! 💙

Mum Jennifer sent in this lovely update to share -
“Hi there, we wanted to share that our little guy Cormoran has just celebrated his first birthday with his family and especially his doting sister Cora.

Cormoran was born at 35 weeks which came as a bit of a surprise to us and meant that we had to attend Cora's nativity via WhatsApp video whilst Cormy was growing a bit stronger.

We are so grateful to the nicu staff and wider maternity team not only for the care they provided our little guy but also that which they showed to our family. We have had a year full of adventures, travelling to the lake district and as far as Australia. We will always be grateful for your support and merry Christmas when it comes”

💙 Happy belated 1st birthday Uche! 💙

“Uche turned a year on the 12th of December and we are very happy for how far he has come.
Uche was born at 28 weeks 2 days, weighing 795g(1.75lbs). He spent 62 days in the Nicu before coming back home. We remain grateful to all the Nicu staff who wholeheartedly took care of him.

Uche is thriving and doing well. He's honestly a rockstar”

“We just wanted to share a little update on Rocco and Riley — they turned 1 on the 13th of November and are absolutely thriving! 🥰💙🩷They’re both taking their first steps, full of personality, always laughing, and keeping us very busy. we’re so proud of how far they’ve come.
We honestly can’t thank you enough for the incredible care you all gave them and the support you gave us in their early days. Thanks to everyone at SCBU, they’re happy, healthy, and hitting milestone after milestone. You’ll forever be our superheroes, and we’re so grateful for everything you did for our babies. we hope the team are well and enjoy seeing this wee update 😁”

🎁 Happy 1st Birthday Korrin! 🎁

Today NICU superstar Korrin is celebrating his big first birthday and had a party to celebrate with friends and family! 🥳

“Hi it's Korrins First Birthday (1st of December). Korrin spent a week in NICU. He was born at 35 weeks weighing 3lbs 13 (you wouldn't believe it looking at him now). I couldn't be more thankful to the staff in SCBU for all the care, compassion and kindness shown to Korrin and myself throughout our stay, so thank you so much 😊 we had a little party for Korrin on Saturday, he had a great day 🥳 here's a few pictures from when he was born to now xx”
