That’s right – the mischievous little fluffball has finally been caught and held accountable for his crimes…
Mainly of 𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 with an avalanche of chocolatey temptations over Easter!

After a fair (and slightly melty) trial, he’s been found 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁𝘆 and is now safely behind burrow bars, where he can’t distract us from our 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 any longer!

So, if things went a little 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 – take a deep breath and 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗴𝗼.

For all those of you who may have forgotten 😘

Remember me!!!! 💳

How could you forget. I am the one you always said “I definitely have it here” as you rummaged through your purse at the slimming world group. You remember!

I know you remember. What has it been 4,5,6 maybe 8 months !!!!

The only time we saw each other these past few months was when you got me out in Tesco trying to “claim points” on me but the woman handed me back saying that “I wasn’t the right one”.

I sat between the bank card and the credit card for the whole summer. Both seemed to be very busy but kept coming back boasting about how much they had spent. I kept thinking why doesn’t she get me out, I only ever cost her £5.95 and maybe a few extra pounds for those bars she loves that get squished in this bag with the rest of us.

It seems to me that I am unhappy and you don’t seem as happy as you were when we were going to that group each week. You would pull me out all proud and hand me to the first woman. She then passed me back and you walked to the other queue and then handed me to the other woman, she really seemed to like me – even gave me a tickle and a rub if I wasn’t behaving. She then used to hand me back to you and I used to see that proud smile on your face.

Now that summer is on its way maybe we could hang out a bit more together? I can be your favouritre ‘Chip and pin' whilst you eat chips and get thin!

It isn’t easy to start again but a quick blow and a rub and we can start slimming again. I will even make you a little promise. If you leave me somewhere you can see me in your purse or your bag I will be a reminder every time you want to pull out one of ‘those other cards’ for a curry or kebab.

So read the words on my face and on my back:
“Reach high for the stars lie hidden in your soul – Dream deep for every dream proceeds your goal”

Please bring me back to group this week. I want to hear that lady saying “Enjoy all this free food and aim for 1/3 on your plate and forgive yourself for the perils of lockdown and the things that you ate”

Take me along I am all that you need. You can carry on where you left off or start a fresh.

📣 Calling all dog owners 🚶‍♂️🐕‍🦺!

I love a brisk walk with my little dog Daisy (when she isn’t stopping and sniffing every lamppost) it all counts towards Body Magic, as long as it gets my heart rate up a little ❤. Dog walking is a fantastic way to get some activity into your day and is a really healthy habit, for both you and the dog, especially if you challenge yourselves with longer and/or more brisk walks.

Who else loves a morning walk with their little pooch ??

When I walked through the doors to a Slimming World group, 12 years ago I never imagined how it would change my life, I learned how to lose weight without hunger, make meals my whole family can enjoy, I met some wonderful supportive like minded members who I now call friends and listen to over 5 stone ❤️

Trying to lose weight and become healthier on your own is really hard, joining a Slimming World group makes it easier with all the support from group but imagine having your friends and family by your side every step of your journey, supporting each other and celebrating together ❤️ imagine what you could all achieve ❤️
