Something Sensory and Spooktacular is afoot!

Almost set up indoors for tomorrow, with outdoors to come in the morning!
The forecast looks dry so we'll set up most of the messy play outdoors so please think wellies, coats, and changes of clothes. Inside will be warm with more activities and refreshments, and we'll have a KeyCreate musical storytelling adventure through a haunted house!
Costumes welcome but not necessary.

Walk ins welcome since we'll be half in, half out!

Please note that Halloween Sensory play is not taste safe so please watch your children carefully

We may be up to our eyes in Halloween workshops and spooky sensory prep, but Christmas is creeping up and the November and December diary is filling up fast, with some 2026 dates booking up too!

If you or your school/ day centre/ organisation want some KeyCreate magic before Christmas, or some New Year cheer afterwards, please do get in touch so we can structure our days to fit as many of you as possible in!

Well we haven't really publicised our Halloween Sensory Spooktacular but there are only a handful of spaces left.
Get your bookings in now.
Fingers crossed the weather will be dry and we can allow a larger number, but if we're forced indoors we need to cap numbers.

We will soon be announcing dates for six 4 hour long Sensory Sunday sessions (except one on a Saturday for our Christmas party) funded by Glamorgan Voluntary Services and in partnership with Natur Hud outdoor play, running from November to February

It's a double whammy of good news for us!

Huge thanks to our lovely followers and Cardiff & the Vale Parents' Federation for recognising the contribution made by our very own junior KeyCreate volunteers and wonder siblings Miffy and Wilf, who have also WON an AWARD in the young person category.

These two are fantastic helpers, both at home with their older brother who has complex needs, brainstorming and testing workshop ideas, helping to make resources, and getting up at the crack of dawn to help set up sensory sessions, staying for hours afterwards to pack away, painting faces, generally entertaining and befriending our attendees.

We are so proud of them and they are so excited to receive an award at a grown up ceremony 😍😎

Two sessions are available to provide maximum accessibility. Please come along and be part of this fantastic event!

11.30am - ALN exclusive session folllwed by a free provided lunch.

And that's a wrap!
Somehow the Summer has flown by and we're in a new school year! Thank you to everyone who came to our Summer Sensory Sessions, always so much fun 😁
We'll be back for more sensory silliness on the Sundays of half term, including our Halloween Special which is always the messiest of the year. Booking details will follow very soon.
If you need us in the meantime we're always just a message or phone call away and if you don't access any of the day centres, schools, hospitals etc where we run our workshops, don't forget we offer one to ones and parties etc.
