💙 Wellbeing and Loss – Free Three Week Course 💙

Loss is something we all experience in life, whether it’s through bereavement, relationships, health, or other changes. Coping with the emotions that come with loss can be challenging – but you don’t have to face it alone.

Join us at Penrith Hospital for a supportive, three-week course where we’ll explore:
✨ Understanding the impact of loss
✨ Tools and strategies for coping
✨ Support for your health and wellbeing

📅 Dates: 25th Sept | 2nd Oct | 9th Oct 2025
🕙 Time: 10am – 12pm
📍 Venue: Penrith Hospital

This course is free and open to anyone registered with a GP practice in Keswick and Solway or in Eden. Sessions last around 2 hours and will be facilitated by our Wellbeing Service team.

This patient got in touch as they had tried over the counter treatments for their suspected fungal nail, but was getting no improvement.

What a difference in just 9 months! The final picture is before treatment, I just forgot to take an after pic!

If you are struggling with a fungal nail or nails, please get in touch. The sooner you start an effective treatment plan, the more likely you are to see results.

This patient came to see me to get help with their verrucas. They advised that the painful large area has been present for a number of years, and more recently new ones have appeared in different areas.

We chatted about their options, and we decided upon four treatments of Verrutop every two weeks, to include debridement of the verrucas, which is a pain free treatment.

Today was after treatment number 4. You can clearly see one area has completely resolved, and the larger painful area has reduced and is showing signs of resolving, and is pain free!

They are due back in two weeks for the final debridement, and for me to take a better picture of all areas!
