A huge congratulations to Philip, who has completed his First Aid Trainer course this week! 🎉👏 We're so proud of everything he’s achieved and excited about what’s to come.

We’ll be offering first aid training courses very soon—we're just waiting for the final paperwork to come through and will be sourcing the essential training equipment, including manikins, a training defib, and first aid supplies. 🩹🧰⚡

We’re passionate about helping people feel confident in an emergency, and we can't wait to get started delivering high-quality training here in Cornwall.

🌍 World Allergy Week 🌿 | Let's Talk Allergic Reactions
📅 June 29 – July 5

Did you know that anaphylaxis can happen in just minutes?
It’s a life-threatening allergic reaction — and knowing what to do could save someone’s life.

💡 Key first aid steps if someone shows signs of anaphylaxis:
✅ Call 999 immediately
✅ Help them use their adrenaline auto-injector (e.g. EpiPen)
✅ Keep them lying down and stay with them until help arrives
✅ If symptoms don’t improve after 5 minutes and another injector is available, use it

Common triggers include:
🥜 Peanuts or tree nuts
🐝 Insect stings
💊 Certain medications
🌿 Latex or other allergens

👀 Look out for:

Swelling of lips, face, tongue or throat
Difficulty breathing
Rash or hives
Dizziness or collapse
⚠️ Always treat it seriously — even if symptoms seem to settle, medical follow-up is essential.
