This is why it is important to only let qualified Audiologists conduct ear wax removal. There are too many people who have done a 1 or 2 day course setting up in business without the background knowledge or experience to know what to do when things are not straightforward.

At Ash Hearing, all of our clinicians are trained solely in Audiology and gain extensive supervised clinical experience before conducting ear wax removal unsupervised. This, plus our high quality equipment means we can identify and correctly manage any conditions requiring onwards referral whether emergency or routine.

Please be careful about who you let loose on one of your 5 senses!

Not only are we celebrating the 1-year anniversary of our clinic in Alcester, but it is also World Hearing Day — a global initiative led by the World Health Organization to raise awareness of hearing health.

This year, we want to highlight the importance of hearing care for children. Hearing plays a vital role in a child’s speech, learning, social development, and confidence. Even mild or temporary hearing difficulties can impact how children communicate and engage at school and at home.

Some signs to look out for include:
• Delayed speech or unclear speech
• Frequently saying “what?” or misunderstanding instructions
• Turning the TV or devices up loud
• Struggling to focus or appearing inattentive
• Complaints of ear pain or difficulty hearing in noisy places

Early identification and support can make a lifelong difference.

As we celebrate our anniversary, we’re proud to continue supporting families in our community.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this past year — and on World Hearing Day, let’s all take a moment to prioritise hearing health for ourselves and our children. 💙

🎉 We’re celebrating 1 year in Alcester! 🎉

This week marks the first anniversary of opening our doors in Alcester, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the warm welcome and support from our wonderful community.

Over the past year, it’s been a privilege to help so many of you with your hearing health — from hearing tests and hearing aid fittings to ongoing care and support. Seeing the difference better hearing makes in people’s lives is why we love what we do.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us, recommended us, or simply stopped by for a chat. Your support says everything.

Here’s to many more years of caring for your hearing! 💙

When hearing loss goes untreated, everyday situations can start to
feel tiring or frustrating. Straining to hear can take energy and focus,
leaving you feeling drained by the end of the day. Hearing aids are
designed to reduce that effort, making listening feel more natural
and comfortable.

Better hearing can have a positive impact on more than just sound. It
can help you feel more confident in social situations, stay connected
with friends and family, and take part in conversations without
worrying about missing important details.
