How's this for a first-foot? 🥳

Antiquary in Arbroath kicked 2026 off with their very first entertainer of the year – the fantastic Gus Zee! He had residents, their families and the team in good form.

Gus brings energy and charm wherever he goes, performing hits that get toes tapping, hands clapping and feet on the dance floor.

Going into the new year with a pamper! 🙌

The residents at BCG Willowbank in Carnoustie love their pampering sessions and this week, in the run up to Christmas, it was extra special.

Mandy tells us: “As we always say, there’s nothing better than popping along to the beauty room for a hair do, a bit lippy on and bonnie nails. 💄💅

“It was a fab afternoon and the ladies loved it. Huge thanks go to Priscilla for coming in with her special skills.”

What a day at the panto! 🎭

Residents from Lisden had an amazing time at Town Hall enjoying Kirrie Panto Group’s hilarious performance of Pinocchio!

There was plenty of laughter, brilliant crowd interaction, and even a chance for Stan, Nora, and Janette to meet the cast afterwards. Oh yes, they did!

👏 Huge congratulations to Panto Group on celebrating their 40th anniversary!

Our Story

As we get older, we all have our own specific care and support needs. Here at Balhousie Care, our team is passionate about delivering the highest quality care and support to our residents, ensuring that our homes really are a 'home-from-home'. ‘The Balhousie Way’ is our own little term which describes the way in which we like to run our homes. Always with care at our core, always with our residents in mind. We treat all of our residents as individuals and appreciate that each one is unique, with different likes, dislikes, needs and care requirements. Each of our twenty-five care homes reflect this and aim to cater for the specific care needs of every resident. Our nursing, care and support staff are our core, they're what makes us tick as an organisation. They are on the front line of contact with our residents; always there, providing genuine care, no matter what. It is impossible to measure their contribution to our organisation and without them, we simply could not function.
