Feeling heard, valued, understood and most importantly, cared for, helps us to make sense of the struggles we are experiencing. The healing power of talking therapy comes from the empathic connection at the heart of the therapeutic relationship. To deepen our therapeutic relationship I will hear, value and understand your needs and work with you at a pace set by you. Be Understood Counselling Service offers a fully air conditioned consultation room with private off road parking and toilet facilities. This newly built room complies with government guidelines for staying safe during the Coronavirus pandemic making it possible to offer socially distanced face to face appointments. There is hand sanitiser available as well as antibacterial hand wash and antibacterial impregnated paper hand towels. Non invasive temperature checks of therapist and client are also taken at the beginning of each appointment as an additional safety check.
