❄️ As the dust (or snow!) settles on a busy Christmas season, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible generosity shown by community groups and local businesses who supported our hospitals and colleagues over the festive period.

✨ Today’s thanks go to Blenheim Sales & Lettings of Peterborough!

We’re deeply grateful for your donation of 500 meals for staff working on Christmas Day at Peterborough City Hospital NHS. Your kindness brought warmth and festive joy to teams who spent the holiday caring for others instead of being with their own families.

Your support lifted spirits and reminded us just how kind our community truly is.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everybody who contributed and supported this year's Christmas Giving Tree Appeal!

Congratulations to our FAB-U-LOUS colleague, Natalie, who set up the appeal and works tirelessly (in her own time!) each year to get the gifts to the children in the communities around our hospitals which need them most.

A trust says it has had its most successful appeal as it received 7,000 donations for children.

With Christmas well and truly wrapped up for another year 🎁 - organisers of the Christmas
Giving Tree are celebrating the appeal's best year on record.

Over 7,000 presents were donated and delivered to families in need across Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, making it the most success year in the appeal's decade-long history.

Organisers would like to say a HUGE thank you to every single person who supported in some way this year, helping to deliver smiles to hundreds of families, children and young people 💙

We have received some incredibly generous donation this Christmas from individuals and companies across the area who have delivered gifts for our Holly Ward patients at Hinchingbrooke Hospital by the sleigh load. Thanks here to SL Rugby, Huntingdonshire Nostalgia Trust, Sunlounger Travel - Huntingdon, T.S. Cromwell Huntingdon Sea Cadets, Tesco Ramsey and Fenland Farmers and of course the incredible Bill! 💙

🚨 A big shout out to Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade for pulling out all the stops and paying Peterborough City Hospital NHS a visit to deliver gifts to our Amazon Ward, while spending time chatting with young patients and their families.

There was lots of festive joy thanks to the Team along with the Freewheel Cruiser Riders Association who came along for the ride.
