Today was another step forward! 💪
Visited my physio friend Daniel at PhysioEmbassy to keep the progress rolling.

🦵 Day 3 post lateral meniscus transplant (right knee)

Step by step, recovery is taking shape 💪
At this stage, it’s essential to begin gentle passive movements to gradually restore joint mobility.

👉 We focus on:
• Knee flexion between 45° and 90°
• Dorsiflexion and plantar flexion of the ankle
• Stretching the calf muscles

🔌 TENS therapy – an important aid for pain reduction, muscle relaxation, and improved local circulation.

❄️ Cryotherapy (ice compresses) – essential for reducing inflammation, swelling, and the risk of bleeding.

Recovery is a slow process, but every small step forward matters. 🔁

The Big Day is Here!

Years ago, I had my meniscus removed, and it changed everything about how I moved and worked.

Today, I’m back for the next chapter — a meniscus transplant, a complex procedure, but a chance to rebuild, to learn again, and to grow from the other side of the table.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll share my progress and the lessons that come with being both a physio and a patient — for everyone who’s gone through surgery, faced setbacks, or wondered if it’s worth starting again.

💙 While I recover, our amazing and highly experienced colleagues, Dragos and Anca, will be helping out at the clinic — continuing treatments and supporting our patients.
We’re grateful to have their expertise and care during this time.
