Two crafty sisters, Liz and Janet, living at our Kingfisher Court extra care community have launched a new 'Craft Corner' group for residents. During the first of their weekly sessions they made hearts to give as gifts for Valentines Day. We love to see residents planning their own groups and entertainment - and look how talented all our residents are!

Today we’re celebrating Jenny, a Shining Star in our community at Beckett’s Close. As well as visiting people in hospital and cooking for others, Jenny is always very busy organising craft sessions and bus trips for her neighbours. Jenny says: “I get a lot of satisfaction from knowing that people are happy with what I do and very grateful that someone is helping them.”

The clicking of knitting needles can be heard right across Orton Brimbles as our fantastically talented Knit and Natter group at Lapwing Apartments prepare for Easter.
