Mon - Fri: 08:30-13:00 and 13:45- 18:30
Dispensary Opening hours: Monday - Friday : 09:00 -13:00 and 14:00 - 18:00. Please also note we do not have the capacity to respond to any comments made. If you need to contact us please call 01798 342 248 or send an e-mail to: petworth.surgery@nhs.net. If you would like to book an appointment please contact reception during opening hours on 01798 342 248 or use the Surgery's online service. If you would like to order a repeat prescription
You can do it :

- In person - drop your repeat slip in the surgery letterbox with the required items clearly marked.

- By post - send your repeat slip to us at:

Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post the completed prescription form back to you, or if you wish the form to be sent to a local Pharmacy. Medication cannot be sent through the post.

- By fax - to 01798 343987.

- Online - All adult patients may book GP and blood test appointments in advance and request regular monthly medication online. These services are available 24 hours a day. For any other reason please contact our Reception or send us an e-mail.

✅ System Update

Our dispensing system issue has now been resolved, and we are back to running as normal.

Thank you to all our patients for your patience and understanding while the issue was being fixed.

⚠️ Update – Dispensing System Outage

Our system is still down, and it appears to be affecting local pharmacies as well, including Petworth Pharmacy. This means we are currently unable to send electronic prescriptions.

To ensure our patients can still receive their medication, we will be issuing paper prescriptions where needed today.

We appreciate your continued patience and understanding while this national issue is being resolved. We’ll share another update as soon as we have more information.

⚠️ Important Notice – Dispensing System Outage

Please be aware that our new dispensing system is currently down nationwide, which is causing delays in processing prescriptions.

We are still able to issue any acute medication prescribed today by our clinical team, but regular repeat prescriptions may take longer than usual to prepare.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while the issue is being resolved. We’ll post an update as soon as we know more.

💗 Our surgery will be taking part in Wear It Pink Day on Friday 24th October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. We’ll be raising money which will all go directly to Breast Cancer Now – please join us in showing your support!

Anyone can get breast cancer, so it’s important to Touch, Look, Check:
👋 Touch your breasts – get to know what’s normal for you.
👀 Look for any changes.
✔️ Check anything new or unusual with your GP.
