A 1980s STOCKING FILLER. If you love local history you can’t do much better than this - it’s Chris Robinson‘s latest book on Plymouth in the 1980s with over 800 photographs, many are taken by the late Keith Davey, a most excellent local photographer whose work has been shown here on this page recently and shared widely; many others have submitted their work including local photographers Trevor Burrows, Betty Fox and myself. Trevor, Betty and myself spent years working together as colleagues in what was then Plymouth Polytechnic as staff photographers. The book is available in Waterstones, das Box, Chris Robinson’s shop in New Street and of course online at chrisrobinson.co.uk
