✨ C-section scars + swelling + that “tugging” feeling… even years later?
You don’t have to just live with it. 💛
These photos (shared with permission) show a post-Caesarean scar that looks “healed” on the surface… but underneath, scars can still create tightness, restriction and lymphatic congestion that may show up as:
• a pulling/tight band across the lower tummy
• numbness/tingling or sensitivity
• swelling/“pouching” above the scar
• hip, pelvic, low back or core discomfort
• discomfort with exercise, intimacy, or standing for long periods
🌿 How I support this at Body Remedies:
💧 MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) – gentle, soothing work to help reduce swelling, heaviness and fluid congestion around the abdomen/hips.
🤲 Scar release – to improve scar mobility and reduce that “stuck” feeling (only once the scar is fully healed).
🌀 Bowen Therapy – soft, fascia-focused moves to help the body “reset” and take pressure off compensations that build up around the scar.
✅ Whether your Caesarean was 6 months ago or 16 years ago, if your scar still feels tight, tender, numb, or you’re still getting swelling/pain… there are options.
