An interesting one this week, more services completed for a new Adec 300 at a practice in Wi******er. The surgery was located on the first floor of the building but it had a concrete floor.

The team were able to find a route for the pipework via a ceiling void in the room below which enabled a neat and tidy installation to be completed.

The paint and decoration was refreshed with two coats of Crown Trade Paint Scrubbable Matt emulsion which has left the room really bright and clean.

The flooring was completed by C & D Flooring Services Ltd who did an amazing job as usual. Cap and coved all round including up the side and front of the units.

And finally for the week a couple of the enabling works we have completed this week. Under floor services for dental treatment centres.

A very varied week it has been, the team have rebuilt a collapsed stone wall for Gloucestershire practice this week, as is often the case it was a lot more complex than initially anticipated, but after a discussion with the Practice a course of action was decided upon and the team cracked on.

They were able to use a lot of the original stone after a clean up and mixed that in with the some new. A block work retaining wall was built behind and faced stone. This will ensure it is able to retain the weight of the clay heavy soil behind.

A busy week this week so far, here is a plant room we have completed for a fantastic local Practice, up grading their suction and compressed air with the help of our friends Cattani ESAM UK Limited. We have tripled the flow rate from before we started work with all surgeries now getting between 350 and 400 L/pm.

We have designed in future expansion for their 6th Surgery which we will be doing in the coming months.

Some before and after shots of a reception desk completed this weekend. We had been asked to look at the desk as the reception staff were finding it hard to work with very little worktop space
Particularly in front of the computers.

We’ve widened the work surface and by moving it forward into dead space created much more room for the staff behind the desk.

The addition of a door into an existing opening has now also created a private room for patient consultation in a niche behind the desk area.

All that left now is to decide whether to paint the tongue and groove or to leave it natural and give it a coat of varnish like the lovely oak.

All works completed in a weekend so no down time for the practice. All part of SSDB’s standard service provision.
