**DONATION DROP OFF FOR UKRAINE**

Collection by UPSU- here are the details:

With the current events occurring in Ukraine, many have been affected in a way that most of us (hopefully) haven't been affected before. The situation is dire and many people have had to flee everything they knew in order to protect themselves.

There are currently many charities working with providing aid to Ukraine and the surrounding countries helping refugees. Nova Poshta is a Ukrainian postal and courier service and has said that they would send humanitarian aid to those charities from their international warehouses, free of charge.

This is where we can support. Below is a list of items currently needed the most and we are collecting them to send to charities to help.

Medical:

- Plasters

- Bandages

- First aid kits

- Pain killers, paracetomol, aspirin, ibuprofen and stronger over the counter tablets

- Gauze

- Torniquets

- Antiseptic creams/wipes

- Wound disinfectants

Hygiene products:

- Body wash

- Shampoo

- Toothbrushes

- Toothpaste

- Nappies

- Baby wipes

- Personal hygiene products: pads, tampons, etc.

- Soap

On the 22nd and 23rd March we will be collecting these items from the Hive from 10-5. If anyone is also able to, we would really appreciate any donations to help with transportation to Nova Poshta's warehouse which is located in Southampton. There will be a box in the Hive clearly labelled for people to donate items. Please hand medication to a member of staff instead of dropping them in the box.

Thank you in advance and if you have any questions please email volunteer@su.plymouth.ac.uk
