Men over 50 - new gardening group with The Elder Tree!!

How about spreading a little hap-pea-ness 🫛, finding some peas and quiet 🫛, keeping calm and carrot-ing on 🥕. Nothing beets gardening! 🫜

Gardening has been shown to reduce anxiety, depression and stress and you get to eat the stuff you grow…winner winner!!!

Kidney Cancer Awareness month. Knowing what to look out for is so important. But also remember that cancer shares symptoms with lots of other conditions too.

If you notice something that’s normal for you please get it checked out. It may well not be cancer but if it is an early diagnosis will make a big difference. 😊

March is Kidney Cancer Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness about kidney cancer and highlight the importance of recognising the signs and seeking medical advice early.

Kidney cancer often develops without obvious symptoms in its early stages, which is why awareness and regular health check-ups are so important.

Be mindful of potential signs such as blood in the urine, persistent pain in the lower back or side, unexplained weight loss, or fatigue.

If you’re worried about any changes to your health, speak to your GP — early diagnosis can make a big difference.

But this tournament is about more than baseball.
Together we’re stepping onto the field to raise money and support two incredible local cancer charities — It's in the Bag Testicular Cancer Support and Breast Cancer Now

Every pitch. Every hit. Every run.
All for something bigger than the game.
This is baseball. This is community. This is Clash at the Coast.

The Mariners are ready to defend their harbour.
The clash is coming… and it’s unstoppable.

Did you know that Plymouth has 2 baseball clubs? ⚾️🧢

Next weekend Plymouth Mariners Baseball Club are hosting Clash at the Coast. It’s happening at Wilson Field, Central Park (which can be found at ‘the train station end’). There will be plenty of signs up.

Everyone welcome!!! 10am-4pm each day.

Katie, a Plymouth Cancer Champion, is a member and has brought cancer awareness conversations to the club. This weekend the conversations will be bigger and louder - with the backdrop being baseball.

The club have It's in the Bag Testicular Cancer Support and Breast Cancer Now coming along.

Being a Cancer Champion is bringing cancer awareness into the everyday things you do, and love doing. This is an awesome example of just that. Thanks Katie for being a fantastic champion ❤️
