đźš‘ Training in Action at the Centre!

Last week, we hosted the ASCERT course, and let’s say our mannequins had quite the busy schedule. From simulated emergencies to hands-on medical scenarios, participants practised vital skills that could one day save lives.

The mannequins may not have complained (they’re very patient patients), but the energy, teamwork, and dedication from everyone involved were inspiring.

A huge thank you to all who took part — your commitment to learning and preparedness makes a real difference in our community. 👏

🎀 WEAR IT PINK at PGMC! 🎀

Today, our team came together in a sea of pink to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness. From bold fuchsia to soft blush, every shade worn was a symbol of solidarity, hope, and strength đź’Şđź’—

We stand with those affected by breast cancer—patients, survivors, families, and friends—and we’re proud to raise awareness and spark conversations that matter. Early detection saves lives, and together, we can make a difference.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped turn PGMC pink! 🌸

✨ Celebrating Diwali at PGMC ✨ This week, our team came together to celebrate the Festival of Lights in the most heartwarming way — by sharing delicious homemade dishes and meaningful conversations. 🌟

Each bite told a story, and each story deepened our understanding of Diwali — a time to honour light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. 💫

Thank you to everyone who cooked, shared, and spoke from the heart. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and tradition. 🪔

It is Monday and we are excited for another week of introducing you to our fabulous award winners, who represent just some of the amazing education hero's we have working here at UHP! To kick off this week is the wonderful team behind theptn.co.uk, an education portal for Major Trauma, who were awarded the High Regional Impact in Medical Education Award.
