This week's Network meeting we looked at everything Airways and difficulties we may face.

We discussed airway management, helmet removal, choking and our step way approach to Airways through our clinical roles.

We were also fortunate to have the use of a tracheostomy manikin and discuss, rescue breaths and what this looks like.

That's a wrap for our 2025 Annual Network Awards. Thank you so much to all our volunteers.

On our Presentation night, we were fortunate to be joined by Simon Williams -Prior of England, and the Islands and Chair of St John Ambulance! Who gave us an insightful talk along with a Q&A. Thank you to the members of our County Council who came to celebrate with us.

We are incredibly proud of all our members, from our Badgers, Cadets and Adults.

2025 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year. To recognise an Outstanding Volunteer.

This award goes to Leigh, Who can often be found at our training nights and many events across Plymouth, Torpoint and South West Devon.

Leigh has a wealth of knowledge which she is keen to share with others, she's always so welcoming to new members, thank you for everything you do.

She was also awarded the Julie Morley Memorial shield for support to Torpoint.
