Medal Monday this week is a big one. Congratulations to Sarah for taking on the BUSTINSKIN EVENTS Portland Pig and completing 24 Laps - that's 24 hours of running to complete 100 miles, a lap on the hour, every hour. Incredible determination to finish, and the best words that every coach wants to hear "I can't thank you enough for all your coaching, especially those gym sessions, I swear to god they helped me so so so much!!!"
Always proud to coach a fellow wonderwoman. Proving we can do super things if we want to.

๐Ÿ… Medal Monday ๐Ÿ…

Two absolute wonder women to celebrate this week ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ

First up, Jess ๐Ÿ‘
A couple of months ago she asked for help preparing for the London Landmarks Half Marathonโ€ฆ but (of course!) brought an injury along for the ride ๐Ÿ˜…

At Invis-able Fitness, we donโ€™t do one-size-fits-all โ€” we adapt. So we swapped runs for bikes ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ, layered in strength and balance work, and built a plan around her, not the other way round.

Jess was worried that less running = slower timeโ€ฆ
Wellโ€ฆ the proof is in the pudding ๐Ÿ‘‡
โœ… Stayed injury-free
๐Ÿ”ฅ Smashed her PB by 8 minutes

Absolutely incredible ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Next up, Sarah ๐Ÿ™Œ
Who somehow forgot she had a marathon this weekend ๐Ÿคฏ (casually moving house AND training for a new job at the same time!)

So once again โ€” we adapted.
We built her training around run commutes, prioritised recovery, and made sure she hit the start line ready.

And the result?
๐Ÿ’ช Took on a tough, hilly course
๐ŸŒง๏ธ Beat the hail
๐Ÿ… Got a fancy new medal for a training run that's part of a bigger plan.

So proud of you both โ€” proof that with the right plan (and mindset), anything is possible ๐Ÿ’™

We've been a little quiet lately โ€” but behind the scenes weโ€™ve been working hard to make Invis-Able Fitness sustainable for the future.

Part of that journey has meant stepping back into a part-time job, which has definitely been a learning curve! But now that things are settling, weโ€™re excited to start looking ahead again.

There are some positive things on the horizon, including a brand new website, and weโ€™d love to make it as meaningful and authentic as possible by adding more testimonials from our community.

If youโ€™ve ever worked with Invis-Able Fitness, previously Team Wass Coaching and taken part in a session, or felt supported by what we do, we would be incredibly grateful if youโ€™d be willing to share a short testimonial about your experience.

Your words help others understand what weโ€™re about and help us continue building something that supports people who need it.

More updates coming soon ๐Ÿ’œ

National Fitness Day - What are you doing today to move more...?
We might have doctored a photo from the weekend to share, but it's better than the current state where we're melting into a menopause sweat post run/jog/walk. I've been a tad poorly this week with lots of nanna naps. So post our beginner group with Devon Mind this morning I went out to get some miles in.. I DID not want to go. However we need to practice what we preach. So I turned my session into running all the paths where I've wondered "what's down there?". And then adding on all the time to make myself do the full 75 mins.
Motivation comes from doing, not thinking.

What other tips do you have for getting out?

Helloooooo
We've been a tad quiet here recently with a few things going on personally..but we're back. Today was a very good day. Leading a new running group with Devon Mind, always love seeing people start their running journey and hearing why they want to start. . Followed by finally fitting in my own training run which resulted in looking like a drowned rat due to the torrential rain. Then seeing a 1-1 CanRehab client and talking all things movement for recovery and to prevent reoccurrence.
Can't share a photo of these amazing people so here's a photo of the mother of the coach who completed the great north run at the weekend for 5K Your Way. Move Against Cancer proving you can still move whatever your age.
