Happy Saturday 🤍
Here’s a candle for you and your intentions on this cold, crisp winter’s evening. 🕯️
As I sit here looking at the candle in front of me, a conversation comes to mind that I had the other day. Someone was talking about life being like juggling – lots of balls in the air at the same time. And of course, that rings true. There are always different balls in the air.
But it got me thinking… are all those balls the same?
What happens if we drop them?
The reality is, some will simply bounce. Some might roll away for a while and be replaced. But others… some are made of glass. And if we drop those, they can break – sometimes beyond repair.
The real trick, I think, is learning to recognise which balls are glass.
And that looks different for all of us. What feels precious and irreplaceable to me might seem inconsequential to someone else – and vice versa. There’s no right or wrong. Just awareness.
We also know that this juggling is real life. And sometimes, we can find ourselves giving too much attention to the wrong things – expending energy where it isn’t truly needed. But when we live with integrity of spirit, humility of self, and a purity of heart, something shifts.
When our intentions are true, and we are aligned with who we really are, even the fragile glass balls seem to change. They don’t become careless or unimportant – but they do become stronger. More resilient. Better able to withstand the occasional wobble or fumble that life inevitably brings.
So tonight, this candle is for a little illumination and self-reflection.
What glass balls are you carrying right now?
And how can you hold them with intention, alignment, and care, so they don’t just survive – but endure 🤩
Namaste 🙏
Have a lovely day ✨
