It’s a small, friendly group, and our wonderful Keeping Abreast volunteers will be there to chat, listen, and help however they can.

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported our Primrose B***y Bake Off in aid of Breast Cancer Now.

Our staff went above and beyond with their baking skills, and together we raised over £150 to help fund life-changing breast cancer research and support.

🎗️ October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a vital time to remind everyone about the importance of regular breast checks.

Performing a monthly breast self-check can help you become familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel. There’s no right or wrong way to do this; the key is to be consistent and attentive to any changes. Early detection plays a crucial role in successful treatment, so knowing your body is an important step in staying healthy.

If you notice anything unusual, such as lumps, changes in size or shape, dimpling of the skin, or any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your GP.

Remember, breast screening and self-checks are complementary tools in maintaining your breast health. If you’re eligible, make sure you’re up to date with your breast screening appointments.

Your health matters — take time this October to check in with yourself and encourage those you care about to do the same.

Together, we can raise awareness and save lives. 💙
