Whether at an event, retreat, or community cook-and-eat session, we make nourishing dishes that are accessible for all. We believe in sharing an abundance of skills that gently empower people to improve their well-being and feel more connected with their bodies, each other and nature as a result.

Good food and good health is important for us all, now and always. Plant-based food doesn't mean taking away any delicious flavours or textures – but to play and experiment with ingredients that fulfil our needs - look beautiful on the plate. We are re-learning in the moment, listening to what we need and constantly transforming with the current climate. We seek to find sustainable ways of living and working and support ethical companies and growers. We are always up for collaboration. We have a desire to offer alternatives yet not forget cultural traditions – remembering the meals of our grandmothers or something we've experienced on our travels, or looking into a dis-ease in our bodies. Food is our medicine, our grounding, our safe place that enables us to then go out in the world, fully nourished. At some of our events like festivals on the fields, our kitchen is volunteer-based. This core learning exchange is a deep functional root for us - supporting others by learning skills who support us with their time and energy. Moments of insights like a 'bee hive' come into reality in a festival kitchen; everyone with a purpose and place, working together as a whole, serving each other and receiving nourishment in return. We started as a 'food waste' kitchen on Woodberry Down Estate, East Hackney, London, in 2015 and used plant-based products that would have gone into landfill sites, collected from local shops. With people from the community, we'd come together and cook every week and look at some common health issues and cook food with these in mind. Serving up food to the wider community, we'd eat together, share stories, and take a little slice of knowledge back home with us. At festivals, retreats, events and weddings, we provide local, seasonal and organic food as much as possible, supporting the planet and its delicate eco systems that little bit more. We also like to forage and use what nature provides, whether that’s from our community garden, the forest, or somewhere along the way…. We are integrating more of what we love doing, such as art, music and movement, into what we do….
