I hear this one a lot.
And I get it.
Work’s full on. Life’s busy. Stuff gets pushed down the list.

But if you’re already tired, already sore, already low on energy -

Not ideal.
This client came in needing a proper tune-up before the weekend.

Lower back and hamstrings were tight -
but we got to work, loosened things up, and got them race-ready.

They left feeling prepped, confident, and ready to run.

Don’t stop training just because something hurts

You’ve got a ni**le.
Or a full-blown injury.
First thing you’re told?
“Just stop everything.”

But what if movement is the very thing that helps you recover?

I’ll always ask:
Can we adapt instead of stop?
Can you train around the issue without making it worse?

Because if exercise is a big part of your life, taking it away completely - that’s mental as well as physical.

I’m not here to push you into doing stuff that risks further injury.
I’m here to help you stay moving where possible.
So your body doesn’t seize up.
And your head doesn’t spiral either.

We’re not just fixing the injury.
We’re protecting your routine, your energy, your identity.

I’ve made the same mistakes 

When I was younger and got injured, I just left it.
Didn’t rehab properly. Didn’t get it checked.
Just hoped it would go away.

Now?
I know better. And I wish I’d known earlier.

That’s why I speak the way I do.
Why I try and make recovery feel simple, not overwhelming.

Because most people aren’t lazy - they just don’t know what’s going on or who to trust.
And I’ve been there.

If I can save someone in East Devon months of discomfort, years of compensation - that’s a win for me.

1. Pain between your shoulder blades - but no trauma

2. You sit at a desk for most of the day

3. Your shoulders round forward

4. Massage feels good… but the pain always comes back

5. You keep stretching your upper back and it does nothing

You’re not broken.
You’re probably just treating the wrong area.

Pain in the upper back often comes from what’s tight at the front.
Pecs. Biceps. Lats.
They pull the shoulders forward, and those little muscles in the back get stretched to bits.

It’s like tug-of-war - and the losing side is what hurts.
