❕A brief update regarding future appointments from May❕

At this stage, there is still a degree of uncertainty around scheduling future appointments due to the unknown plan of phase 2 until the results of the scans at the end of phase 1. We are still awaiting those confirmed dates and the booking system will be opened accordingly. The timeline and frequency of these will depend on how the next phase progresses and how my partner responds to treatment.
As a result, I may need to remain flexible over the coming weeks, as appointments could be arranged at relatively short notice or adjusted as needed. I will, of course, keep you informed as soon as I have clearer information and will do my best to provide as much notice as possible regarding any commitments. Some of you may have noticed that I have managed to start scheduling some appointments as close to my old working hours as possible, give or take an hour here and there.

The booking system is open until the 9th May. I will be opening my diary from 11th–31st May; however, this will be on a waiting list basis only rather than confirmed bookings. This approach will allow you to be notified of openings sooner and allow me to respond more quickly to any changes in my partner’s appointments. Managing my diary in this way will also help reduce administrative pressure, particularly around results day, when clarity on my availability may still be developing. The diary will remain closed from June until I have more certainty on my whereabouts.

A message from Eliot & Cody:

This April, we’re taking on the Stand Up To Cancer challenge — 60 miles in 30 days💜

It’s going to look a little different for us this year. I’ll be spending at least 10 of those days in hospital, which means I won’t be able to get out for every mile. But this challenge means a lot to us, so we’re not backing down.

Cody will be making sure those 60 miles are covered no matter what, and I’ll be joining him for as many as I possibly can — before, after, and in between. Every step we take is for something bigger.

Cancer affects so many lives, and this is our way of standing up, showing support, and doing something positive even during a tough time.

If you’d like to cheer us on, support the cause, or even join me and Cody to complete the miles, we’d love that. Let’s make April count, it’s time we stand up to cancer💜🎗️

❕IMPORTANT UPDATE❕

An update and it’s a little on the personal side.

In a split second, four simple words have shattered our hearts and crushed my world😔💔

This isn’t the news we ever wanted to hear again. And the worst part is that I can’t take this away, but I can promise my better half this — I’m here, Cody’s here. We will be at every appointment, by his side for every hard day, and celebrate every small victory. We’ll face this together as a family. He has proven how strong he is once before, now let’s show much stronger he is now! My heart breaks that he has to go through this again.

During this time, I will be adjusting my working hours to support my little family. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding with any scheduling changes during this time.

To help protect our household, we kindly ask everyone to be extra mindful about hygiene when visiting.

❗️IMPORTANT UPDATE❗️

We want to share that Chelsie’s partner, Eliot, has recently been diagnosed with cancer. During this time, Chelsie will be adjusting her working hours to support her family. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding with any scheduling changes that need to be made.

In order for us both to help safely protect their household, we kindly ask that you communicate any illness’ ahead of your appointment even if you feel it’s a minor sniffle and look to reschedule if you are unwell.

We are installing additional hand sanitising stations and ask that you please use these upon entry and exit to clinic.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we all try to do our bit to keep Eliot as safe (well) as possible throughout his treatment, it means more to us than you’ll ever know.
