My Story
I am currently in my final year of studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University and will graduate in July 2020 with a BSc (Hons) Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage. Whilst studying for my degree, I have been fortunate enough to engage in further courses and CPD courses to gain the qualifications I currently hold, allowing me to begin my desired career before finishing my studies. Previous to university I attended college in Coleg Sir Gar to study an Extended Diploma BTEC in Sport Development, Coaching and Fitness, where I had my first insight to performing sports massage and is what lead to me progress to where I am now.
I am a young, bilingual (English and Welsh) individual who is passionate about health and anything sports-related.
I am a keen sportswoman - I was a dancer from a young age until mid-teens, where an injury sadly took my career away from me. I have also been engaged in many other sports but predominantly in football, athletically (11 years) and professionally (2 & 1/2 years). And from this I understand the value of receiving effective treatments.
I currently work alongside two big football clubs in South Wales; Cambrian and Clydach Vale BGC in the JD Cymru South league and Cardiff Met WFC in the Welsh Women's Premier League, as well as Welsh title holding fighters in boxing, MMA, etc. I have also been fortunate enough to work in the qualifying rounds of the Women’s Champions League in the summer of 2019.
