Putting ourselves first as parents
can feel impossible.
As a parent it feels innate to think and care for others, before we think of ourselves. We can feel pulled in lots of directions.
Putting ourselves first can feel selfish and indulgent.
But what if I told you, the big feelings you experience, don’t all belong to you. That as a parent you are a human sponge, soaking up everyone else’s feelings and emotions. That by looking after yourself, you can create more space for you and those around you not less.
Taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be big gestures. It can be as simple as…
