Our Lorraine got married to Mike
They're spending their honeymoon in a cardboard box to raise funds for

They will be sleeping out tonight to raise awareness for wheelchair accessible housing

"Every type of body deserves to feel safe, with a roof over their heads and food on the table – disabled and non-disabled alike. I have been within a whisker of being homeless myself 4 times.On each of those occasions it was due to having an extremely low income, due to a combination of disabilities and caring responsibilities. The lack of wheelchair accessible housing was also a BIG factor.” Lorraine.

Spotted this while at a hospital appointment yesterday. Can you see the problem? This problem plays out across the UK, with only a handful of exceptions of which I'm aware. It's why I run the "Better Access for Better Access" campaign. Link in bio for our campaign.










For people who face transport issues accessing a hospital-based unit, due to their mobility issues, a mobile unit may be their only option.
