🟪 April - Testicular Cancer Awareness Month 🟪

Although testicular cancer is rare, it is more common in men between the ages of 25 and 40.

The most common symptom is a lump or swelling in your testicle, but other symptoms can include a heavy sc***um, a dull ache, discomfort or pain in your testicle or sc***um.

Although your symptoms are unlikely to be cancer, it is important to get them checked out by a doctor.

It's important to regularly check your testicles. It is usually possible to cure testicular cancer, but it is easier to treat when diagnosed early.

🔹Bowel Cancer Awareness Month🔹

April is bowel cancer awareness month. When diagnosed early, 9 in 10 people survive bowel cancer. Knowing the symptoms is one of the most important steps in getting diagnosed at the earliest possible stage.

If you have any of the symptoms, make an appointment with your GP to get checked out.

If you're invited to complete a routine bowel screening test, it's important to take part.

March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. The symptoms of ovarian cancer can be vague, and can be linked to other less serious conditions. See your doctor if you have changes that are unusual for you or won't go away. In most cases, it won’t be cancer, but if it is, getting diagnosed early can make all the difference.
