Think - Pharmacy First
During winter months many people suffer from minor ailments, such as coughs & colds. Although unpleasant these can often be treated at home with rest and over the counter medication. Your local pharmacy can also help.

Did you know you can self-refer to a Pharmacy for many common health conditions without needing to see a GP first. They have received additional training to provide consultations and treatments for minor conditions, including antibiotics and antivirals.

The new drop-in will usually run every Monday, and offers free mental health and wellbeing support to anyone 18 and over – with no appointment needed. Whether you’re looking for a chat, guidance, or a bit of extra support, our friendly team are on-hand to help.

If you are registered with The Adam Practice, and are eligible, you can book your flu jab at upcoming flu clinics this weekend.

We had two very successful Flu Clinics over the weekend at our Longfleet Road and Hamworthy surgeries.

If you would like to book your flu vaccination at this weekend’s clinics at Upton, Lifeboat Quay, or Lytchett surgeries, please use the link in your text invitation or call the surgery.

**Covid-19 & Flu Vaccination**
If you are eligible for a Covid-19 vaccination, you can book an appointment at Poole Ferry Port using your invitation from the national booking service. You will also be able to have your flu vaccination at the same time — there’s no need to book this separately.
