I moved out of The Jasmine House on 23 July. Today, things that have been in storage since then have been delivered. I thought it’d inly take a couple of months to find my new home! But it took until February. While moving around and since moving in, I’ve been living with bare necessities. This is because the house needed to be renovated. My bedroom has been my sanctuary and is currently the only room with a carpet. This room will be my living room - now it’s a temporary office and storage. There is still loads to do, but my office and the spare bedroom will be carpeted on Friday (YAY!) It has been challenging at times, but it will be worth it. I know I will be happy here 😊. What challenges are you ploughing through right now? What’s helping you get through?

This was an old outhouse in the garden at my new home. The roof has been replaced, the walls lined and a new window installed. Tomorrow, a new door will be fitted. Two more weeks, 🫰🏻and it will be ready for me to move in.

Off to see how my dream winter home in Pizzo is progressing. I know it’s ready for first fix for the electrics, but lots more to discuss with my builder. Flying to Rome, then 5 hours by train. I set of at 1:50 am and I’ll get to my friend’s apartment by 18:30. Long day of travelling - but I can’t wait to be there 😊
