For Time to Talk Day, Melita is sharing her experience of living with anxiety, honestly and openly.

Anxiety isn’t constant, and it isn’t one-size-fits-all. What makes a difference is connection, support, and being reminded that you don’t have to face it alone.

Today is about opening the door to conversation. At work, at home, with friends, or quietly within yourself. One step at a time is still progress.

💬 If you feel comfortable, what helps you when things start to feel overwhelming?

Parenting can be joyful, challenging, exhausting and everything in between - often all in the same day.

This Parent Mental Health Day (30 January) is a gentle reminder that your wellbeing matters too. Looking after your mental health isn’t selfish or indulgent - it’s an essential part of caring for yourself and your family.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, tired or stretched thin, you’re not alone - and support is always worth reaching for. 💛

January can feel heavy. Energy is low, days are short, and many of us are running on empty.

Hygge offers a different approach to wellbeing. Rather than fixing or pushing through, it invites us to slow down, soften our environment, and prioritise comfort, connection and presence.

Research shows that the elements behind hygge, like warm lighting, meaningful social connection and simple rituals, can help reduce stress and support emotional wellbeing. It’s not about perfection or productivity. It’s about creating moments that feel safe, steady and nourishing.

Maybe hygge isn’t a cure for the January blues.
But it might be a kinder way to move through them 🤍
