I haven’t posted here in a long time — mostly because I'm too busy and social media isn’t really my thing.

Where and how have you recently left your comfort zone, be it small or big??
I am about to get out of mine. I'm going to Cherbourg, France, to stay with a woman whom I don't know, but who has agreed to do a swap!
So I will stay with her for six days, and then later in the year, she will do the same. She wants to improve her English, and I, my French.
Now, if you do something a bit out of your comfort zone and with good energy, things happen. So, the group online that my husband found turns out that the Moderator is also the Editor of a magazine.
She got wind of this and wants to interview the both of us, take photos, etc. Also, others replied when I said anyone wanted to meet for coffee, salsa, etc. I got 7 replies.
Such fun, still a bit scary, but an adventure, whatever happens.
What's your next move out of your comfort zone? I'd love to know.
Remember, it doesn't matter what; it's your comfort zone, so you know when you are out of it. Then let me know.

So here we are 2024. It's astonishing how fast this year has gone for me. Lots of new things and I have been stretched, mindset-wise!
I love that because it means I'm growing, yes it is uncomfortable, but nothing is ever created from the same mindset for real change. Also, we grow new neural networks by doing something really uncomfortable and that is good for the brain.
So my question is: are you up for being uncomfortable this year?

On my last post teaching the Body Oxygen Level Test (BOLT) takes 40 seconds, definitely worth reading and doing this short exercise, I also promised to show you The Physiological Sigh. It's very effective in bringing down anxiety. Don't be cynical because it's short, this is science and it works, good for focus too.

We've just returned from a fantastic holiday in La Rochelle and St Malo, I have been overwhelmed by the beauty, the variety of the landscape and the food these places offer. Beaches, great seafood and everything else you can imagine,
It really made me think about how we live and what is important in one's life. For me, the sea is really special, the fact that there are many choices of different foods, shops and the fresh air is also important to me.
If I had to choose the number one thing that would have to be there for me to consider moving abroad, I would have a problem! What would your number one priority be?
