Ickle Pickles Coffee & a Catch Up Ickle Pickles Coffee & a Catch Up is run by our Events Project Manager, Fundraiser and Peer Support team member and ex NICU mum Lorraine Blackburn.

The SECOND Wednesday of every month we hold our very own Coffee & a Catch Up at Nelson Messy Play Room, Paulsgrove Family Hub, Cheltenham Road, PO6 3PL
No need to prebook, just turn up on the day between 10am-12pm. We aim to encourage mums and dads that have had babies that received care in the local Neonatal Units hospital to come along and get to know other parents that have been through the same, if not a similar situation. We offer an understanding ear and understand the anxious feeling some parents get from leaving the 'nest' and 'home' that is a Neonatal Unit. Please be assured that the parents that come to the 'Coffee & a Catch Up' group are open, friendly and very welcoming. Lorraine works for the children's charity Ickle Pickles and is the Events Project Manager and Fundraiser and Peer Support member of the team. She is always at the 'Coffee & a Catch Up' group and is there to offer support and guidance to any parents that may wish to get involved with fundraising as well as an ear to listen whilst you are there. As a charity we have lots of events on the go throughout the year. Many parents feel they need to 'give something back' to the hospital that cared for your child. This is where Lorraine comes in. Looking forward to our first ‘Coffee & a Catch Up’ group THIS Wednesday.

If you have a little one that spent time on the neonatal unit and would like to come along and meet other parents that have been through the journey (myself included) we’d love to see you!

Ladies and Gentleman...

We are thrilled to announce that we have given the page and our plans a little shake up.

Our NEW group 'Coffee & a Catch Up' aims to support parents leaving the neonatal unit and heading home with their little one/ones.

We would LOVE to see you come along to our first group (address and info in the poster)

Our first new group will start on Wednesday 11th December.

The group is run by Lorraine who has been working with Ickle Pickles for over 11 years and offers peer support on the Neonatal Unit at QA.
It would be lovely to touch base with and see some of you come along that I have met on the unit and are now home.
