I welcome you to my seasonal wellbeing workshop at in Shrewsbusy this Sunday where we embrace the cycles in nature. We will immerse ourselves in seasonal wellbeing through the lens of the 5 element theory based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.
During this workshop you will learn about the element of water and kidney energy which are linked to winter season. We will explore the energy of the season with gentle yoga, somatics, qigong and yin yoga practices.
Winter is all about stillness, reflection and going inwards. In this session we focus more on restorative practices and meditation. You will learn more about the 5 element theory, how to look after your wellbeing in winter plus some really useful acupressure points for self-massage. We will also do some journalling and setting gentle intentions, sowing the seeds for the next season.
These seasonal workshops are soothing for the body and the mind. Everything during the workshops is gentle and invitational, there is no strong asana practice, just easing, slowing the body and mind and embracing the season we are in.
