Sunday October the 10th is Mental Health Day.
Like physical health we all have mental health, sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not so good but we can put up with it, sometimes it affects our daily life, and sometimes it can be so overwhelming we need help from professionals.
Yes a day and a week devoted to mental health helps to highlight the issues, however, for those who suffer considerably they need our understanding and support all the time.
Reach out to your family, friends and colleagues, let them know you are them for them, they aren’t alone, the same as you would do if they were feeling physically unwell.
We all suffer from things that affect our mental health, but for some those feelings are amplified, our support can quieten those feelings and if they need support from professionals we can support them to find it.
