Researchers explored the impact of cue-based feeding protocol in very low birth weight (VLBW) infants. Cue-based feeding protocol assesses the infant's readiness to feed, quality of nippling and caregiver technique.

The study examined the effectiveness of the protocol in improving time to ni**le feed and time to discharge with the VLBW infant.
