My clients say:

"I went to Rebecca for acupuncture to treat Endometriosis that I suffer from. It has helped enormously with the pain and side effects from this condition. Acupuncture was also a great help through a very stressful period in my life and I felt more able to cope emotionally and it restored my energy levels when I was at my lowest."

A lovely share from

Oubaitori: the idea that people, like flowers, bloom in their own time, and that each of us is on our own unique path. It’s a soft acceptance of not needing to compare, and instead honoring the rhythm that’s yours alone.

Anger and frustration are the feelings associated with Spring in TCM.

But both use qi. So is it worth it? How much of yourself are you willing to spend in this emotion? What will you need to do to regain the Qi you lose in frustration and anger? And what could you use that Qi for instead?

Warmth that heals 🔥

Moxa, also known as mugwort, is primarily used in traditional Chinese medicine for moxibustion, a therapy that involves burning the herb to achieve various health benefits by applying heat to acupuncture points, or areas of the body.

It is warming, bitter and acrid in its energetics, allowing it to:

🔥 warm meridians and expel cold
🔥 induce the smooth flow of qi and blood
🔥 strengthen yang from collapse
🔥 prevent diseases and keep healthy

Moxa can be done directly, with cones placed directly on the skin, upon an acupuncture point and set alight.

Indirect moxibustion can also be done with a moxa stick (looks like a cigar!) which warms the point from above.

Moxa is particularly helpful in Spring, since transitions between seasons can be harder on the body's energy systems.
