JubyLee Bakes We are a Charity(1188066) baking with young adults with learning disability, autism and Down Syndrome

We make delicious bakes in small batches with very fine ingredients. We are a registered charity working with adults with learning disability/ autism / Downs Syndrome. Available for local delivery as well as at cafe outlets, markets and fairs in West Sussex.

What a wonderful day we had on Wednesday at the Spring Fair at The Grange Centre☀️🌸

We absolutely loved exploring the beautiful walled garden, packed with vegetables, flowers and so much care and creativity. We were also inspired by the fantastic arts and crafts studio and the embroidery room — everywhere you looked there was talent, colour and community spirit shining through. 💛

And the food treats… wow! The chutneys, jams, fudge and truffles were absolutely delicious (and very hard to resist bringing home!). 🍓🍫

It was such a joyful celebration of creativity, inclusion, friendship and meaningful opportunity. Thank you to everyone at The Grange Centre for making us feel so welcome and for all the amazing work you do. We came away full of inspiration — and full of fudge! 😊

As we celebrate 10 Years of JubyLee Bakes, we’ve been reflecting on the incredible people and organisations who have believed in us, championed us, funded us, encouraged us, and helped us grow.

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating 10 amazing years of JubyLee Bakes! 💛🦒🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our 10th Anniversary Celebration and AGM on Sunday. It was such a special time reflecting on a decade of friendship, inclusion, opportunity, determination and, of course, delicious bakes!

We loved sharing memories, hearing stories, seeing old and new friends together, celebrating our incredible bakers and volunteers, and looking back at just how far the JubyLee journey has come since 2016. From tiny beginnings to Great Taste Awards, Dream Team Award, community events, markets, festivals, prestigious catering projects, TV and other media features, with countless lives touched along the way — what a journey it has been! ✨

Most of all, thank you to our amazing JubyLee Bakers, families, volunteers, trustees, supporters and customers. JubyLee Bakes simply would not exist without you.

What a scorcher at Pulborough Village Market yesterday!! ☀️🌿

Huge well done to wonderful JubyLee Bakes bakers Sophie and Kyle who kept smiling and serving customers brilliantly despite the heat ( warmly encouraged by our lovely Trustee Alyson! ) It was lovely to see the hall buzzing with people enjoying the sunshine, community spirit and, of course… cake! 💛

Our brand new Rhubarb & Rum Cake went down an absolute storm — made with fresh rhubarb picked from the Wednesday team’s allotment. The cake was flying off the stand almost as quickly as we could slice it! 😋😋

What an honour and delight to welcome two very special people to the JubyLee Bakes Kitchen yesterday! 🌟

We were thrilled that Andrea, Past Master of the Worshipful Company of HR Professionals (who is also one of our volunteer kitchen leaders) introduced us to Virginia Bond, Past Master of the The Worshipful Company of Cooks, for a visit filled with conversation, encouragement, cake, and sharing the power of supportive community 🍰💛

It was wonderful to share more about the work of JubyLee Bakes, our amazing bakers and volunteers, and our vision for creating opportunities, and building confidence and connections through baking.
It was also a good opportunity to reflect on our 10 year history and to explore possibilities for the future.

A huge thank you to Andrea and Virginia for taking the time to be with us, for your warmth and interest in our work, and for championing inclusive community initiatives. We loved having you with us — and we hope you enjoyed the bakes too! 😊

What a beautiful evening at St Mark’s Staplefield ( part of West Weald Parish ) for the Patronal Festival Choral Evensong✨🎶⛪

A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed the JubyLee Bakes team so warmly as our bakers and volunteers provided the catering following the service. It was wonderful to see the church filled with glorious ethereal music by the wonderful Coro Nuovo Choir, community, and conversation while enjoying delicious food shared together in such a stunning setting.

Special well done to our brilliant JubyLee Bakers Alison and Simon who worked so hard preparing and serving the refreshments with professionalism, and charm💛

Moments like these remind us how food, friendship and community can bring people together so beautifully.

What a truly special day for JubyLee Bakes! 💛

We were absolutely honoured to welcome William Marle (Master) and Peter Baker (Deputy Master) of the Worshipful Company of Bakers to our kitchen. Their visit meant so much to our whole team – a wonderful moment of connection between centuries of baking tradition and the fresh, inclusive energy of JubyLee Bakes.

Our bakers were proud to share their skills, stories and (of course!) some of our Great Taste Awards bakes 🍰✨. There was a real sense of celebration in the room – of achievement, opportunity, and the power of baking to bring people together.

Thank you, William and Peter, for taking the time to visit, for your encouragement, and for recognising the incredible work of our bakers. Your support helps shine a light on what is possible.

🌟 Inspiring the next step! 🌟

A huge well done to JubyLee Bakers Emily, Simon and Chloe who did a fantastic job representing JubyLee Bakes at the Next Steps Transition Event at Manor Green College today💛

They proudly shared their journey, showcasing our award-winning bakes (yes… those Great Taste stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) and talking about what it’s really like to be part of the JubyLee Bakes family. From building skills in the kitchen to growing in confidence, they were brilliant ambassadors.

The table looked incredible (and very delicious 😋), and it was wonderful to meet so many young people and families thinking about their own next steps.

We’re so proud of you Emily, Simon and Chloe — you truly brought the JubyLee spirit to life! 💫

Our wonderful baker Kyle was on top form with his fantastic customer service, helping our lovely happy customer Mary choose some delicious treats from the JubyLee Bakes stall.

Our brand new Rhubarb & Rum Cake, made with fresh rhubarb from the allotment lovingly tended by our Wednesday team, was an absolute hit — it flew off the cake stand! 🍰✨

There’s something very special about community, sunshine, and homemade cake shared with friends old and new.
