It’s Mother’s Day in our house, as I’m working a 12 hour shift at 111 tomorrow. I was presented with home made cards, a verse of ‘happy birthday’ from the 2 year old, a chocolate bar that everyone ate and a beautiful print from Cup of Layna - art by Karolina Pawlowska who has also made the most wonderful postcards for post Millish. In fact, hers were the first produced and they have all gone, I’d love to have the funds to print some more.

Listen up Manxies because we're BACK baby! 🌈 thanks to a lovely local sponsor (who wishes to remain anonymous) we’re bringing you not 1 but 2 funky NEW postcards to collect featuring designs from Jade Boylan Illustration and Catkins_art_iom ☀️ We’re still working out the logistics of getting these out to people (safety first, we are in lockdown after all) but from the start of next week we’ll hopefully be making these available for FREE to local folks 👍 If YOU would like to sponsor a print run of cards personally, on behalf of your business or anonymously, PLEASE get in touch, we would love to hear from you ❤️

Listen up Manxies because Post Millish is officially coming back! ✌️ now that we’re fully into lockdown 2.0 they want to spread a little joy again both on island and beyond ❤️ to kick things off I’ll be donating this new artwork for a print run of postcards to be sent out for FREE 🌈 but the only way can get lots of lovely cards printed is if local local businesses are willing to sponsor a print run 🥰 so if you know someone who might be willing to be a part of this lovely project then get in touch with Post Millish 👍 and if you’re a local artist interested in donating a design to the project, definitely get in touch!!! 🎨 Post Millish doesn’t keep any of the donations, every penny is spent on printing postcards to give out to people for free 🌈

Ok We are back!!!!!
So...... we are back in Pandemic mode in the Isle of Man, and I needed to just find a moment and a little energy to bring Post Millish back to you all. There was so much love for this last lockdown and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to do something positive and joyful.

If you’d like some Post Millish cards to keep in touch and spread some joy, shout up and I’ll find a a way to share them with you. If you’d like to sponsor a run of cards, that would be utterly awesome, drop me a message.

My Manx Patterned Cat (no tails!) postcards for the Post Millish project, 💕 this wonderful project creates and circulates positive postcards for 'free' to spread joy; the art donated by local artists and printing funded by sponsors.

Post Millish came about as a way of helping combat the negative effects of loneliness which are especially heightened in a pandemic. The postcards are available from a range of sheltered public places, some bookshops and schools.

My good friend Ciara has started a lovely initiative called Post Millish, to help people keep in touch with friends and family on the Island and the UK.
The ability to send a few words to say you are thinking of them, is so important in the current climate with people still feeling isolated.
These postcards are free and have been designed by local artists... I have left a stack of them at Jurby Community Centre, so please pick them up and share them with others.
Post them and make someone smile.

Here they are!!! I’m so happy to share my latest news with you that 3 artworks: You’re enough, Manx Jar and Motherhood are now available as limited edition gicleé prints! And I can finally send them worldwide 🤩

They’re printed on high quality 350gsm watercolour paper and will be sent in a cardboard tube/“do not bend” envelope (if A4) or you can collect them if you are local and prefer to do so of course! 💕

To each order I’ll add some freebies! Few postcards from Post Millish project - if you haven’t heard about it yet, go check out our page, I was so lucky to be the first artist involved in this amazing project and now we’ve got around 10 other artists who joined us and gave out their free time to cheer you all up, lovely people, and create stunning, positive artworks for you.
