I finally finished the rewrites on Inspector Raju Suspects and here is the blurb.
Inspector Krishnam Raju works in the Indian port city of Visakhapatnam, and he has a lot of cases to try to solve. Most of his cases are fairly routine, a few are more exotic and some are just bizarre or perhaps even supernatural. Dealing with mysterious murders, brutal burglaries, scammers, fraud, family disputes, an old fortune teller who was battered and even gem swapping, Krishnam always does his best for the people he polices. He puts his successes down to luck and good police team work, being a modest, caring man who fails to recognise both his own intelligence and the way he inspires others.
Life can take directions that even Krishnam does not expect.
Middle-aged Krishnam has never found the time to marry and he is not sure he can really afford a wife or family on his salary. Sometimes good karma reaches out and changes what a man sees as his destiny and if he is bold enough he may live to be grateful for his opportunities.
