Embrace the beautiful tradition of the O Antiphons with these seven elegantly illustrated ornaments. For over 1,300 years, Catholics have been singing the “O Antiphons,” each expressing our longing for the Messiah through a unique name of Christ.

Each ornament features a symbol on one side and the corresponding “O Antiphon” on the other, creating a wonderful way to reflect on the significance of each name during the Advent season. From December 17-23, recite or sing the antiphon each night as you hang the ornament on your family tree, creating a meaningful countdown to Christmas.

🚨 One Left! 🚨
The Jesse Tree ornaments and devotional with readings and reflections have been really popular and we only have ONE more left! We won’t be doing another reorder this year (but we will next year as long as they have them!)

🌲A Jesse Tree represents the family tree of Jesus Christ and each ornament represents a story from the Bible that tells about God’s people and His salvation plan before Jesus was born. Each tells how He prepared humanity for the coming of the Messiah.

🌲 The tradition of the Jesse Tree dates back to the middle ages. The name “Jesse Tree” comes from Isaiah 11:1 “Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit.” The Saviour was to come from David’s family line and Jesse is the father of King David. During Advent, a Bible story is read and discussed, and ornament is placed on a tree, the Jesse Tree. This was often done from the beginning of Advent to Christmas Day with the Bible stories corresponding with the readings from Daily Mass so the number of ornaments and the stories that were read changed from one year to the next. This meant that new Jesse Tree ornaments needed to be created each year. Because of that, there are many versions of the Jesse Tree.

🌲 This version was created to be simple and easy to use. It begins on December 1 and ends on December 25, it can be used the same way year after year. The Jesse Tree connects us to Scripture and the journey of God’s people and encourages us to ponder our own journey with God and how Christ continues to reveal himself to us.

Autumn mornings aesthetic and our life in kitchen tables. This is our 3rd table and I think we’ll have it for a while. Our kitchen table is the place for meals, games, Catholic Seasons shop work, homework, crafts, deep conversations, laughter and silliness, meal planning, finance talks, date nights, gathering with friends and family, holiday feasts, fasting day soups, quiet moments alone pondering, praying, thinking of the past planning the future keeping up with the present, catcher of shed blankets, sweaters, jackets, big news, silent companionship, reading, writing, and sometimes just sitting, anything and everything in life, the kitchen table plays a center stage supporting role. This morning, stacks of books for Hannah’s homeschooling and my random things. Good ‘ol kitchen table 💖

Pools of light and colour streaming through the stained glass windows of St Augustine Shrine in Ramsgate. St Augustine of England landed here to bring Christianity to England in Spring of 597. He was sent by Pope Gregory Pope. En route, Augustine and his 40 monks heard stories about how savage and rough England was that they returned to Rome only to be sent back again! Kind Ethelbert was so moved by Augustine’s preaching of Christianity that he eventually also was baptized and converted along with 10,000 others by Christmas of 597 only 6 months after he landed!

Gianna and Chiara, two amazing Italian women at ! Chiara, the founder of the apostolate worked tirelessly to bring quality programs and support for mothers to practically and spiritual enrich the vocation of motherhood, she’s a mom looking after other moms and it’s a great blessing to call her a friend (and I know I’m one of many that do!) Gianna’s testimony of her saint Mom and holy Dad is so inspiring and shows that through prayer and total focus on God, sainthood is possible and in our modern world saints are being made here and now. St Gianna enjoyed fashion, driving her car and even though she was a pediatrician she worried when her children were sick . She was a woman, a mom a wife just like me. This picture with Chiara and Gianna is one I’ll treasure forever and by God’s graces, may it be a photo of 3 future saints 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
