Lizards and wizards

Lizards and wizards
And hickory dock
The mouse ran up
The proverbial clock

The fool the magician
The lady the emperor
King Arthur’s round table
And the knights of the Templar

Arranged all in order
As is just with the law
As I sat. Just like Alice.
With round eyes in awe.

I couldn’t believe it
The truth was surreal.
So I sat back and laughed.
And let God take the wheel

For truth is not easy
To digest when you see
How far we’ve digressed
From simplicity

And truth is not easy
The road there is hell
But to achieve peace on Earth
And in Heaven to dwell

Try to believe
That you are a soul
Now. Can you conceive
That we are an all?

Sparks of God consciousness
We’re one mighty mind
United in light
To save all mankind

Each one of us equal
Each one of us valid
It’s time to unite
Too long have we tarried

For love is the answer
And love is the key
Which locks the door to darkness
And saves humanity

The Angel and the Demon

The demon tried to slay the angel
Her bright light made him quake with fear
She wrapped her white wings right around him
And made his hatred disappear

He found his heart that beat within him
And reconnected with his soul
He knew the fight was all for nothing
And that salvation was his goal

The angel smiled and glowed with holy
Love that came from God above
The demon basked and begged Creator
And peace descended like a dove

He asked forgiveness for his sins
And dastard dabblings in the dark
He wept and prayed and vowed redemption
His soul soared skywards like a lark

And hand in hand they cleaved together
Two souls infused with holy power
No more demons. No more angels
Only loves eternal flower

Reaching to the heights of Godhead
And down into the bowels of hell
No more fights The Devils dead
God is king and all is well
