EMDR Therapy
(Eye movement and desentisation reprocessing)
EMDR is a powerful tool that has proven to be extremely useful in the treatment of traumatised individuals following the painful aftermath of r**e, assault, combat, drug addiction and the death of a loved one.
Ideal for those who have been unable to forget past traumatic life events, as it allows for a rapid processing of even deeply rooted memories, giving people back control of their lives and emotions.
Where traditional therapies can take months or years, EMDR takes only a few sessions.
In addition to being used for traumatic events, EMDR can be used for psychological issues such as phobias, fears and self sabotaging behaviour and has been successfully used to eliminate symptoms in traumatised children.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is an effective treatment to help with pain, breaking habits, managing stress and a wide range of psychological conditions including anxiety, lack of confidence, low self-esteem and addiction.
Through Hypnosis the therapist speaks directly to the subconscious of the client, where the negative thoughts about themselves live. This helps the client to identify the root cause of the problem and replace the negativity with positive thoughts.
Age Regression/ Past life regression
Regression is a specific approach that helps people improve their emotional and cognitive health by resolving past events that are having an impact in the present. When a therapist regresses you to an earlier time in your life (or a previous life) the goal is to help resolve psychological problems stemming from childhood conditioning or significant events that are still impacting on beliefs or behaviour.
Gestalt Therapy/Dreamwork
Gestalt therapy is a client based approach that helps clients focus on the present and understand what is happening in their lives right now. Gestalt is used to address immediate thoughts, feelings and behaviour. A recurring dream is an unsolved problem or unfinished business. All dreams are a personal message often only understood by the receiver of the dream.
Parts Therapy
Parts therapy is based on the belief that our subconscious mind is made up of many different parts and each part has a separate area of responsibility. Parts therapy is often used when there is an inner conflict. For example someone that is overweight, may be desperate to lose weight but there is a “part” of them that craves the feelings aroused whilst eating fried foods or sweet treats.
Parts therapy enables a person to achieve mind and body harmony.
