We had an absolutely amazing time enjoying karaoke sessions across our communities, thoughtfully organised by our Dementia Ambassador Prince, with the wonderful support of the Lifestyle Team. The atmosphere was filled with music, smiles, laughter, and so much joy from start to finish.
Our residents truly came alive as they sang along to their favourite songs, tapping their feet, clapping their hands, and even dancing along in their seats. It was heart-warming to see familiar tunes bringing back beautiful memories - some residents sang confidently, while others happily hummed along or cheered their friends on. 🎶💖
To make the event even more special, we awarded three “Best Singer” prizes, which brought huge smiles, excitement, and a lovely sense of achievement among our residents. The applause and encouragement from everyone made the moment truly memorable. 🏆👏
The sessions created a strong sense of togetherness, boosted confidence, and lifted everyone’s mood. Music has a powerful way of connecting people, especially for our residents living with dementia, and it was wonderful to see how engaged and happy everyone was throughout the activity.
A big thank you to Prince for organising such a meaningful and enjoyable event, and to the Lifestyle Team for their continued enthusiasm and support. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and we can’t wait to do it again!
