Another 9000 Dash Cluster saved today.

Speedo not working ?, Rev Counter intermittent ?, Fuel Gauge has a life of its own ?. Dash only works when you smack it with your hand ?. All common issues with the 9000 Cluster at this age.

We offer a complete refurbishment. Replace all leaking Capacitors with Panasonic Capacitors inc the EDU unit. Reflow every PCB. Clean all copper edge connectors. Check / replace all Bulbs. Detailed clean and polish of the Perspex outer lens to remove all scratches.

The SAAB Clinic update:

Hi everyone.
Just a quick message to all my customers to apologise for the delay in replying to your requests. Some of you may know that i work on my own and also hold a regular day job. So only operate TSC at weekends.

We have a backlog of over 100 orders, but processing as fast as we can. Customers who have already paid, or booked in to visit take priority in the list.
We have replied to 25 customers today and hope to have the backlog mostly cleared next weekend.

** Please do not send chasing emails, or chasing messages on Messenger as this just generates more work for us. Just bear with us 😊

** Please note, we do not sell general Saab spares. We have had many messages asking for spares recently and we do not stock anything. Other than refurbished 9000 Headlight relays, Indicator relay, and ACC Climate units. All in our Facebook Marketplace store.

PS: Sshhhhh. We have heard on the grapevine that there is going to be a TSC 50% off Remap Sale, on the UK Easter Weekend. So £90 for a typical remap. Watchout for a future post.

This project has taken weeks to complete, a 9000 Aero “Recaro” office chair with working electrics and heat. The leather was in poor condition so required filler, lots of sanding and then 4 coats of leather dye. Powered by an old PC power supply and painted black to hide it a bit. Well pleased with how this turned out. Many thanks to Dave @ Saabflight for the seat.

Restoration of a 9000 Aero Recaro seat today. Washing with Gliptone cleaner. Sanding the leather. Leather filler and lots more sanding and finally 3 coats of Leather dye. Amazing transformation. Now ready to become my new office chair, with working heat and electrics !.

A very happy customer today, Stage2 on a 2.0t. From 150bhp to 252 bhp & 373 nm of Torque. Massive change in performance.

The car arrived running quite rough, this was soon diagnosed as some absolutely shot spark plugs. They had been in there a very long time !. So a fresh set of plugs were called for.

This is still our most popular Remap, 100 bhp increase for £180.
However its not just about the increase in performance, our remaps give special attention to the 20-30% throttle area when driving in town areas. Much improved drivability which comes very close to that of a modern turbo car. Completely transforming the way the car drives.
