It’s a tough life 😂

I used to hate Monday mornings so decided to stop working.

You have to prioritise yourself sometimes, it’s the advantage of owning your own buisness.

Not every Monday looks, I exaggerates for the content, but generally decided to take no bookings in the morning to sort myself out for the week.

Monday mornings for me are slow, I do my admin, go to the gym, clean, meal prep and work in the evenings.

it’s important to take time for yourself where you can.

Quick PSA 👇

It’s flu season and I’ve had a few cancellations recently but also some that come in still ill.

Massage can help the recovery after an illness as it promotes circulation.

But if you’re ill or coming down with something, I’d always rather rebook you than:
• Make you feel worse
• Spread germs in the clinic
• Knock both of us out for the week and maybe future clients

Massage is very close contact… breathing space, hands-on work, shared air.

Massage helps recovery when you’re healthy again.

When you’re ill, rest is more important

If you’re unsure, just message me.
Rescheduling is never a problem.

Payback on .hallam.925 for all the pranks she played on me Wednesday mornings.

Helping out at the Deka event today doing Massage and watching my client Pam takepart.

I have training Pam for 18 months and she’s made huge progress. When I first started, she could barely do a press up or lift away above her head.

And now she’s just competing her first event which she was very scared about, but absolute smashed it.

Well done Pam and Emma.

Three biggest excuses I hear everyday day!

1. Age

Age isn’t the problem, neglect is. I get it, your body does shut down as you get older but you need to do yourself a favour and look after yourself more as your age.

2. Time

Most of us waste at least a few hours a day doing pointless tasks. You need to set aside time each day to work on your problems.

3. I’ve tried everything.

The reality is, you probably haven’t tried everything. You need to stick at a plan for months in order to see progress. It takes consistent work to get rid of a pain.

Here’s the truth:

And walking gives you exactly that.

• It improves blood flow

• It switches on your glutes

• It loads the spine gently

• It reduces stiffness

• It’s low effort, high reward

Start walking.
Consistently.

Episode 3. of teaching you how to Massage yourself

Today we have a chest loosen size using a Massage Ball. This can help leave symptoms of shoulder pain.

Disclaimer: there may be other areas of the shoulder that need work to so this might not be the ultimate fix but will help loosen the chest enabling the shoulder to move better.

The best way to fully heel it is through exercises t correct movements patterns that will stop the pain.
