Beat the Summer Heat: Keeping It Cool Below!

Let's dive into a topic that's especially relevant during these scorching summer days—keeping your testicles cool.

Did you know that excessive heat can affect your s***m health? It's essential to give those jewels a break from soaring temperatures. Check out these cool tips to keep things comfortable:

1️⃣ Breezy un**es for the win: Embrace breathable boxer briefs or loose cotton underwear that let the air circulate freely, preventing any unwanted heat buildup.

2️⃣ Take a break from hot tubs: While hot tubs may be tempting, prolonged exposure to extreme heat can temporarily impact s***m production. So, enjoy a dip, but don't overdo it!

3️⃣ Loosen up, summer style: Say no to tight pants that trap heat and opt for relaxed, airy clothing that allows your boys to breathe. Let the summer breeze work its magic!

4️⃣ Shower cool, shower fresh: After a sweaty day in the sun, treat yourself to a refreshing, cool shower. Opt for lukewarm water instead of scalding hot, providing relief while keeping your testicles happy. ***m ***mhealth

🚫 Myth: You can only get pregnant during ovulation.
✅ Fact: S***m can survive for up to five days, and the fertile window extends a few days before ovulation. Pregnancy can occur if in*******se happens a few days before ovulation.
Contrary to popular belief, pregnancy is not limited to the exact moment of ovulation. S***m can live inside the female reproductive system for several days, and the fertile window includes the days leading up to ovulation. This means that if you have in*******se a few days before ovulation, there is still a chance of getting pregnant. Understanding your fertile window and tracking ovulation signs can help optimize your chances of conception.

Although the fertile window provides the highest likelihood of pregnancy, it is still possible to conceive outside this window. Every person's reproductive system is unique, and factors such as irregular cycles, hormonal imbalances, or variations in s***m lifespan can influence the chances of pregnancy occurring outside the expected fertile window.
Remember, fertility is a complex process, and it's important to consult with healthcare professionals for personalized guidance on your fertility journey.

SOS test for S***m Oxidative Stress

🔬For the 1 in 6 couples who need help starting a family, male factors will be the cause of up to 50% of infertility issues. Male and female fertility can be caused by any number of physical, hormonal, genetic, immunological or lifestyle factors, but whereas women are usually offered a wide range of tests to check their fertility, men have historically often only been offered a general semen analysis.

A correct diagnosis is one of the most crucial factors to ensure successful fertility treatment, and while a semen analysis identifies many fertility issues, 25 – 40% of male infertility cases remain ‘unexplained’ after a semen analysis.

Where our SOS test comes in: S***m Oxidative Stress has been linked to poor s***m function, abnormal semen analysis results, and damage to s***m cell membranes, affecting their shape and movement. The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology also says that S***m Oxidative Stress is “the main cause of DNA damage”, which in turn could result in DNA errors within an embryo, causing lower pregnancy rates and a higher risk of miscarriage. All these factors contribute to failed IVF outcomes. Our SOS test can identify this issue quickly, and treatment can be simple.
